Just the thought of trying online dating again was exhausting.

The endless swiping. The awkward small talk. The ghosting. The wasted time.

And as I shared that with other singles, I realized I wasn’t alone — everyone seemed to feel the same way. We were all looking for something more real, more human, and more fun.

I had seen speed dating on TV and always thought, That actually looks kind of fun — I’d try that! Every now and then, I’d search for an event in Knoxville... and every time, I came up empty.

Then one day in March 2025, it hit me:

If I couldn’t find one — I’d make one.

That’s when Speed Dating Knoxville was born.

Since then, I’ve spent months researching how to do it right: the best format, the best venues, and most importantly, how to create an experience where real connections can spark — the kind that make you delete the apps.

This isn’t a gimmick. It’s a new way to date — for people who are ready to meet face-to-face, skip the games, and find someone who actually gets them.
